Saturday 16th August *
Group outing to the Railway 200 Exhibition Train at Doncaster. This event is now fully booked.
Sunday 24th August *
Social gathering at the White Swan beer festival at Barton interchange from 2pm to 4pm. Convenient for arriving on the train departing from Cleethorpes at 13:07 and departing from Barton at 16:11.
Saturday 6th September *
Group outing to the Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership's Railway 200 Heritage Exhibition entitled 200 years of rail travel to the Yorkshire coast at the Old Parcels Office at Scarborough station. YCCRP have kindly offered to provide rail tickets for the event. Applications to the Chairman.
Sunday 7th September
End of the Sunday service on the Barton line. No FBL event currently planned.
12th to 21st September
Heritage open days. No FBL participation currently planned.
Tuesday 16th September *
Barry Coward will give his Railway 200 talk about British Transport Films at the Joseph Wright hall in Queen Street, Barton as part of Heritage Open Days at 7 for 7.30pm. Free admission, all welcome.
Friday 26th September *
Lions on the Line departing Barton 17:54 to inns at Stallingborough, Ulceby, Habrough and ending back at the White Swan in Barton. Just turn up on the day for a convivial evening out.
Saturday 27th September
Group tour of New Holland focussing on places of railway interest led by Andrew Robinson to mark Railway 200. To be confirmed.
