Barton Lions and Barrow Rotary excursion to Cleethorpes visiting Willy's bar, the Nottingham, the Old Vic and the No. 2 departing Barton station at 11:10 and departing Cleethorpes at 15:05 or 18:07. All welcome.

Barry Coward will give his Railway 200 talk about British Transport Films at the Joseph Wright hall in Barton as part of Heritage Open Days at 7 for 7.30pm. Free admission, all welcome.

200th anniversary of the opening of the first public railway which took place between Stockton & Darlington. Details to follow.
