From Wednesday 24th until Saturday 27th December, there will be seasonal alterations to Cleethorpes - Liverpool services.

Wednesday 24th December 2025
10:19 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 13:30, Grimsby Town 13:44, Cleethorpes 13:53 will be diverted and will not stop at Stockport.
13:19 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 16:30, Grimsby Town 16:44, Cleethorpes 16:53 will be diverted and will not stop at Stockport.
14:19 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 17:30, Grimsby Town 17:44, Cleethorpes 17:53 will be diverted and will not stop at Stockport.
17:26 Cleethorpes - Liverpool Lime Street, booked Grimsby Town 17:34, Habrough 17:44 will terminate at Sheffield at 19:09. There is a connecting Northern service from Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly at 20:14.
18:19 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 21:30, Grimsby Town 21:44, Cleethorpes 21:53 will terminate at Doncaster at 20:36.
18:26 Cleethorpes - Liverpool Lime Street, booked Grimsby Town 18:34, Habrough 18:44 will terminate at Sheffield at 20:09.
19:19 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 22:33, Grimsby Town 22:47, Cleethorpes 22:56 will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly at 20:11.
19:26 Cleethorpes - Liverpool Lime Street, booked Grimsby Town 19:34, Habrough 19:44 will not run.
20:19 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 23:39, Grimsby Town 23:54, Cleethorpes 00:03 will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly at 21:11.
20:26 Cleethorpes - Liverpool Lime Street, booked Grimsby Town 20:34, Habrough 20:44 will not run.
21:26 Cleethorpes - Sheffield, booked Grimsby Town 21:34, Habrough 21:44 will not run.

Thursday 25th and Friday 26th December 2025
In common with other local rail services, there will be no Cleethorpes - Liverpool service.

Saturday 27th December 2025
05:05 Cleethorpes - Liverpool Lime Street, booked Grimsby Town 05:13, Habrough 05:23 will start from Sheffield at 07:08.
05:43 Manchester Airport - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 08:26, Grimsby Town 08:42, Cleethorpes 08:52 will start from Sheffield at 07:10.
05:54 Sheffield - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 07:27, Grimsby Town 07:43, Cleethorpes 07:52 will not run.
06:14 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes, booked Habrough 09:30, Grimsby Town 09:44, Cleethorpes 09:53 will start from Manchester Oxford Road at 07:08.

Barton Line seasonal service alterations:

Wednesday 24th December 2025
Last Barton Line trains will be 15:13 Cleethorpes - Barton and 16:08 Barton - Cleethorpes.
17:10 Cleethorpes - Barton, 18:08 Barton - Cleethorpes, 19:13 Cleethorpes - Barton, 20:08 Barton - Cleethorpes, 21:01 Cleethorpes - Barton and 21:56 Barton - Cleethorpes will not run.

Thursday 25th and Friday 26th December 2025
No Barton Line trains, nor any other service on the national network will run.

Saturday 27th December 2025
Normal Saturday service will run. Note, on other routes some early services will not run.

Sunday 28th December 2025
There is no winter Sunday Barton Line service.

Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th December 2025
Normal weekday service.

Wednesday 31st December 2025
Full weekday service.

Thursday 1st January 2026
Full weekday service.

Local bus services in Grimsby and Cleethorpes are subject to alterations over the festive period.

On Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December 2025 and New Years Eve, Wednesday 31st December 2025 there will be an early finish to service.

On Christmas Day, Thursday 25th December 2025, Boxing Day, Friday 26th December 2025 and New Years Day Thursday 1st January 2026 there will be no local bus services.

Stagecoach buses in the Barton area will be subject to festive alterations.

On Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December 2025
A limited service will run on service 255 from Wren Kitchens (Falkland Way) to Hull and North Bransholme.
Service 256 from Wren Kitchens (Parrott Street / Barrow Road) to Hull and North Bransholme will not run.

On Christmas Eve Wednesday 24th December 2025 and New Year's Eve Wednesday 31st December 2025
18:30 Service 250 from Grimsby will terminate at Barton Interchange at 19:37. There is a connecting service 350 from Barton to Hull at 20:00.
20:30 service 250 from Hull to Grimsby, booked Barton Interchange 21:12, will not run.
A limited service will run on service 255 from Wren Kitchens (Falkland Way) to Hull and North Bransholme.
Service 256 from Wren Kitchens (Parrott Street / Barrow Road) to Hull and North Bransholme will not run.
19:20 Service 350 from Scunthorpe Bus Station to Hull will terminate at Barton Interchange at 19:56. A connecting service will run from Barton to Hull at 20:00.
19:30 Service 350 from Hull to Barton will terminate at Barton Interchange at 20:08.
An additional short service 350 from Barton Interchange to Scunthorpe will run at 20:00.
20:00, 20:50, 21:50 and 23:00 service 350 from Hull to Scunthorpe will not run.
20:20 and 21:20 Service 350 from Scunthorpe Bus station to Hull will not run.
22:20 Service 350 from Scunthorpe Bus station to Barton will not run.

On Christmas Day Thursday 25th December 2025, Boxing Day Friday 26th December 2025 and New Years Day Thursday 1st January 2026 no Stagecoach bus services will run.

North Lincolnshire Council Community Bus service 96 from Barton to Brigg will be subject to festive service alterations.

On Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd, Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December 2025, Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th and New Years Eve, Wednesday 31st December 2025 the 16:00 from Barton to Brigg and 17:10 from Brigg to South Ferriby will not run. Last buses are at 14:15 from Barton to Brigg and 15:10 from Brigg to Barton.

On Christmas Day Thursday 25th December 2025, Boxing Day Friday 26th December 2025 and New Year's Day Thursday 1st January 2025 no service will run.

On Boxing Day Friday 26th December 2025 Hornsbys Bus & Coach service 254 Barton Town Service will not run.

Grayscroft Coaches service 25 from Grimsby Town to Market Rasen via Binbrook will not run on New Years Day Friday 1st January 2026. It will run every other Tuesday and Friday during the festive period.

Grayscroft Coaches service 28 from Grimsby Town to Sandilands via Mablethorpe will not run on Tuesday 30th December 2025. It will run on every other Tuesday during the festive period.

Grayscroft Coaches service 50 from Grimsby Town to Saltfleet via Tetney will not run on Christmas Day Thursday 25th December 2025, Boxing Day Friday 26th December 2025 or New Year's Day Thursday 1st January 2026. It will run every other day Monday - Saturday during the festive period.

And finally 

The festive special will be visiting all Barton Line stations to visit those on the nice list. It is scheduled to arrive at all stations at 23:58 on Wednesday 24th December, departing again at 00:02 on Thursday 25th December.
