The Barrow History Study Group will have a talk on the Rise of New Holland by Andrew Robinson at the Vicar's Room, Barrow on Monday 16th February at 19:30. There will be plenty of images on the railway and Humber ferries.
There is a service 250 bus from Grimsby Town at 17:30, arriving in Barrow at 18:25 and from Barton at 18:27, arriving in Barrow at 18:36. After the talk, there is a 250 bus from Barrow Market Place back to Grimsby at 21:21. Alternatively, it is around 45 minutes walk to Barrow Haven station, from where there is a train back to Barton at 21:45 and for all stations to Cleethorpes at 22:01. High visibility clothing is advised for the walk back to Barrow Haven.
