On Saturday 16th May, Northern will be running four trains in each direction from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Sheffield via Brigg, giving a through service during engineering works on the route from Barnetby to Doncaster via Scunthorpe.
It is hoped to arrange a FoBL outing on the Brigg Line on that date to take advantage of the sadly rare opportunity to make the trip in both directions by rail.
