Sir Edward Leigh MP for Gainsborough has received a letter from the Transport Secretary, seemingly dashing hopes for the LNER London Kings Cross to Lincoln service to be extended to Cleethorpes, subject to review by GBR.
The Grand Central open access bid for a service from Cleethorpes to Kings Cross via Scunthorpe and Doncaster remains under consideration.
