On Sunday 22nd June 2025, TransPennine Express Trains services from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool will be affected by engineering works. Services will run as follows:
Cleethorpes - Doncaster as normal service
Doncaster - Sheffield services are provided by Northern and CrossCountry trains
From Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly, services will alternate between diverted rail services and replacement bus services. Services will not stop at Stockport.
Connecting rail services from Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Oxford Road.
Normal rail services resume from Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street.
