On Saturday 28th March 2026, there will be a The Railway Touring Company promoted West Coast Railways steam special from Cleethorpes and Grimsby Town to Chester.

Passengers from stations between New Clee and Stallingborough could reach the train at Barnetby using the 06:51 Cleethorpes - Barton and 07:20 Grimsby Town - Matlock.
Passengers from Barton can use the 06:54 350 bus from Barton to connect into the tour at Scunthorpe. Returning, they can catch the 21:05 train from Cleethorpes back to Barton.

Use of these connecting services is not included in the tour fare.
