From Sunday 6th September 2026 there will be changes to Stagecoach local bus services.

 

New service 5B will run Monday - Friday peak hours from Barton to Grimsby via Wren Kitchens, Barrow, Goxhill, East Halton, South Killingholme and Immingham.

 

Services 5, 5B, 5M and 5S will form service 8 at Grimsby Town, giving direct links to Grimsby Hospital, Scartho, New Waltham, Humberston and Cleethorpes. There will also be minor retimings to improve punctuality.

 

Service 11 between Grimsby Town and Waltham via Bradley Park will be withdrawn due to low use.

 

Service 12 will be revised to run from Bradley Park to New Waltham via Grimsby Town.

 

Service 250 from Hull and Barton to Grimsby Town will be diverted to serve Goxhill Crossroads.

 

Service 256 will gain a new Monday - Friday evening service from Hull Paragon to Wren Parrot Street, leaving Hull at 23:30, returning from Parrot Street at 00:20. This service is open to the public and will serve stops on Ferriby Road, market place and Barrow Road in Barton. Note service 256 does not serve Barton Interchange.

 

Sunday service 350 from Hull to Scunthorpe via Barton will be extended from Gallagher Retail Park to Skippingdale Retail Park.

 

College service 560 from East Halton and New Holland to the Scunthorpe colleges will be rerouted in Goxhill and Barton. In Goxhill will travel via Howe Lane, Horsegate Field Road, Ruards Lane, North End and Ferry Road in Goxhill, all journeys will run this loop.

 

In Barton journeys will travel via Falkland Way, Pasture Road, Butts Road to Barton Interchange, they will then run via Butts Road, Pasture Road to Barton Market Place, then Ferriby Road to South Ferriby to continue their usual route. Afternoon journeys will run in reverse.

 

In Grimsby and Cleethorpes, services 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 53, 53A and 251 will have minor timetable revisions to improve punctuality.
